We believe the church should be a safe and engaging place where children can grow in grace. Here is what you and your kids can expect:

Nursery
Sundays from 8:45 am - 12:30 pm
Wednesday evenings from 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm (for parents attending the church activities)
Our SJAUMC Tiny Disciples are ages birth to 3 years and are cared for and loved by our background-checked, trained nursery staff.
Nursery is open for other special church events throughout the year by reservation.
F.B.I.
Sundays during the 9:00 service
Preschool 4 years (potty-trained) to 4th grade
Room 122
Our Faith and Bible Investigators Class aka F.B.I. is a one-room, multi-age Sunday School class that meets during the 9am worship service in room 122. This brief class focuses on theme-based, interactive Bible stories and crafts tailored for potty-trained 3-year-olds through 4th grade.
Children start with their families in the sanctuary at 9am and are dismissed to Sunday School after the Children's Message portion of the service. Children are returned to the sanctuary to meet their families at the end of the service.
Kids' Connection
Sundays at 10:10
Preschool ages 2 years to 4 years - Room 109
Kindergarten to 4th grade - Room 111
Kids Connection is a place where faith and fun meet to help kids grow in Christ. Through creative, active and Bible-based programs and experiences, children are guided and encouraged to grow in their faith and become deeply committed followers of Jesus Christ. Kids Connection offers dance-worthy music, kid-friendly responsive readings, Bible story time with life application lessons, collection of offering, puppetry, crafts and games. Come sing, laugh and learn with us!
Adventure Zone
Sundays at during the 11:11 service
4 years (potty-trained) through 4th grade - Room 111
Adventure Zone is an interactive Sunday school for kids ages 4 -4th grade that emphasizes Biblical literacy. Kids will learn Bible stories and memorize scripture all while playing games, performing Bible skits, watching videos, singing and playing musical instruments.
Children will start in the sanctuary with their families then are dismissed for Adventure Zone after the children's message in worship. Children are returned to the sanctuary to meet their families at the end of the service.
Base Camp
Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm
Room 111
This is a mid-week program for kids ages 4 through 4th grade. Base Camp uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help children grow physically, socially, and spiritually. It focuses on teaching everyday life skills with a distinctly Christian focus. The mid-week curriculum focuses on Science-based Bible Lessons, cooking, and thematic units that explore God's world. Throughout the year, kids participate in service projects such as the New Day Backpack Ministry and Kids Against Hunger.
